From Jerry Hamric: This song was written in 2013 for my grandchildren, and recorded in 2014 for my new solo album project; the album is produced by Lee Jolly. I am playing all guitars and singing lead vocal. Backup vocalists are Lee Jolly and Claudia Hammond, and Lee Jolly is playing bass guitar.
I have been a musician/guitarist for the last 49 years. I am a multi-instrumentalist (harmonica, guitar, Dobro, percussion, mandolin, bass guitar, and anything else that has strings) and vocalist. I have been working in the University of Houston -- Clear Lake Writing Center for many years. I have an undergraduate degree in History and a graduate degree in Literature. I am also a ceramic artist, and many examples of my artwork are on display in our writing center.
