Scott Whiddon is the Director of Transylvania University Writing Center (Lexington, KY). For the past three years, he has served as the Kentucky state representative for SWCA; in 2014, he was the local coordinator for the IWCA Summer Institute. Scott currently plays guitar and sings for Palisades, a post-punk/power pop trio (palisades.bandcamp.com). He also writes music for the Louisiana-based alt-country band Sinners and serves as guitarist for The Wags – a loose confederation of musicians led by Robby Cosenza and Singletary Center for the Arts director Michael Grice. Scott has contributed work to the Kentucky Conservatory Theater Summerfest and various documentary films. He also volunteers as music director for the Harry Dean Stanton Film Festival.
