Damian Johansson began his writing center work at The Learning Center at Minneapolis Community & Technical College, specializing in group tutoring, writing consultation, Geology, and tutoring subjects ranging from Astronomy to Folk Dancing. He continued on to the Center for Writing at the University of Minnesota, broadening his tutoring to subjects such as CHEM reports, freshman writing assignments, and PHD dissertations. He will graduate in 2015 with a BA in English from the U of M, despite insisting to everyone that his degree will be in Astronaut Forestry, or Exobiological Wildlife Management.
The short-lived group "The Sevens," (Anthony Bell, Dan Buechler, Damian Johansson, Amara Webber), named after a club in the M.E. Kerr book Fell, recorded “Underground” in a Quaker Meeting House during a benefit concert.
