Justin Haring is a teacher, writer, and traveller from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. Originally from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, he loves the outdoors and all activities that get him closer to nature and solitude. He has worked in the Writing Center of the University of Minnesota as a Multi-lingual learner specialist since 2013. As an ESL specialist he enjoys sharing his expertise in English grammar with international students who often struggle with writing in this quirky language.
Justin has been playing and writing music since his teenage years and has played in several bands over the years including the locally famous All Those Wasted Mangos in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua where he lived after his Peace Corps service from 2005-2007. He has been influenced by the classic rock and blues of the 60s and 70s, with a heavy dose of 90s grunge and alternative. He is increasingly fascinated by folk and bluegrass, and has decided to take up the fiddle. As of 2015 he can be found in the mountains around Bozeman, MT.
